Day 1:-
Pickup from Cochin airport and check in |
Day 2:-
Elephant Training Centre Kodanad and Athrapilly Water Falls. Leave Cochin at 7 AM to see the bathe of elephants and to touch,wash feed and ride on them with mahouts.Athrapilly is an 80 feet water fall, in the midst of greenery. The sublime beauty of waterfall, the soothing sound infuses freshness in tired souls.The climb down to the bottom of falls and up through the rocks will be an unforgettable experience. |
Day 3:-
Day Cruise in a House Boat and Country Boat at Cochin Backwaters. The House Boat has a double room with an ensuite toilet and an open pavilion,cruise through wider canals and lagoons.The country boat is a traditional open canoe which goes through small canals and villages.You can enjoy the village lunch also. |
Day 4&5:-
Ooty is famous for it's Botanical gardens,annual flower show and Nilgiri Toy Train.The uniqueness of this rail line lies, it being the steepest one in Asia.The toy train takes tourist from a height of 1069 feet to 7228 feet.In this train,the engine while going upwards is on backside to push the train from behind.On the other hand,it is on front side on return journey down hill. |
Day 6:-
Madurai.The main attraction of this temple town is Meenakshi temple with it's 1000 pillar hall,where each pillar is carved one,depicting god and goddesses.It's 14 numbers of magnificent Towers are elaborately sculptured and brightly painted.The musical pillers when stuck produces different musical notes. |
Day 7&8:-
Munnar the Hill Station. The drive through sprawling tea gardens pristine valleys, picture book towns, winding lanes is unforgettable.The main attraction is Eravikulam National park; the abode of Nilgiri Tahr, the endangered mountain goat.See live demonstration of tea making at Tea Museum |
Day 9&10:-
Thekkady,the Spice garden town.The major attractions- Jungle trekking and Jeep safari are opportunites for watching heards of wild Elephants,Monkeys,Bisons,Bears,Barking deer and even Tigers.During boating you can see heards of wild elephants swiming and bathing in the lake. |
Day 11&12:-
Kovalam Beach Stay.One of the best beaches in the world ideal for sun bath, swiming and water sports.The rolling waves,golden sands, gentle breeze,refresh your body and soul. |
Day 13:-
Alleppy stay to relax,unwind and recharge.Alleppy is famous for it's Lakes,Canals,Coir yarn,coir mats and mattings. |
Day 14:-
Heritage Tour to Fort Cochin.The tourist spots are: The Synagogue:-Oldest in commonwealth built in 1856. Dutch Palace : - The glory of the palace lies in mural paintings. St. Francis Church: - The first church built by Europeans in India. Chinese fishing net: - These nets on the bay mouth were first erected by traders from China.Evening, see Kathakali; the dance-drama of Kerala. |
